The project links a person who wants or needs help (a partner) with an advocate. The advocate then helps promote the rights and interests identified by the partner.

- Providing information about the choices available to you.
- Exploring and making action plans.
- Giving you support to access to services and benefits you are entitled to.
- Providing support at mental health meetings in the hospital and in the community –Independent Mental Health Advocacy.
