                              MIND ADVOCACY SERVICE

                              Mind Advocacy Service is a free, independent, confidential service for people who may be experiencing problems.

                              The project links a person who wants or needs help (a partner) with an advocate.  The advocate then helps promote the rights and interests identified by the partner.

                              What kind of help is available?

                              • Understanding  the problems you may face.
                              • Providing  information about the choices available to you.
                              • Exploring and making action plans.
                              • Giving you  support to  access to services and benefits you are entitled to.
                              • Providing support at mental health meetings in the hospital and in the community –Independent Mental Health Advocacy.
                              THE ADVOCACY SERVICE DOES NOT OFFER A CRISIS SERVICE
